System Planning:

  • Assist In Evaluating Most Economic And Effective Communication System Design Which Will Include The Following:
  • Choosing The Right Scalable Controller (Like RTAC, PLC Or Software-Based Data Aggregator Etc.) For The Application That Will Be Robust And Most Economical.
  • Choosing Proper Communication Paths Like Serial, Ethernet Based Or Fiber-Based Design Based On Size Of The System
  • Selecting Most Economic And Effective HMI Package Depending Upon The System Size
  • Selecting Protocols, Software And Appropriate Media Converters Based On Third Party Equipment.

System Planning:

  • Program data concentrators like SEL-RTAC using various methods like Ladder logic, structure text and functional block.
  • Develop HMI graphics that might include objects like, Power system one-line, control windows, relay faceplates, system analog and binary data, data trending and Alarm screens
  • Programming communication parameters for various equipment in the power system.
  • Programming of SEL and GE relays with set points and communication parameters
  • Develop SEL quickset (.rdb) and GE enervista based relay settings.
  • Develop all scale (simple, moderate or complex logic) relay-based protection schemes like source transfer scheme, Transfer trips, Breaker failure and zone interlocking schemes. Using of various protocols like IEC-61850 based GOOSE, SEL Mirrorbits, DNP3, Modbus, MV90 etc
